
Expand your mind
“Expand your mind” was a three-month-long summer campaign leading up to the all-important “back to school” time of year.
The concept stemmed from an innovation in Paperchase window displays: a sturdy and durable cardboard desk, from which all our customers could lay the foundations of their hopes and dreams. Split into three phases, Deskination was all about refreshing your desk with a range of soft pastel stationery, perfect for daydreaming about your ideal holiday. Phase two was all about “back to school”, promoting beautiful kids ranges to suit all ages. The third and final phase was “back to college”, emphasizing value for money, quality stationery essentials.
Some added marketing strategies were needed during this campaign, such as creating a brand-new loyalty card and encouraging repeat purchasing during the summer. The card was promoted via a window decal and an A5 strut, strategically placed on the till points.

An example of how the windows were put together. I created a fun and flexible way to dress up the various windows across the business: each display could live either as a fully 3D experience, or a simple flat poster.
